KYOCERA ECHO - DUAL SCREEN PHONE

Straight from Sprint's "Industry First" event is the Kyocera Echo, a dual screen Android based phone. The device houses two 3.5 inch 480x800 displays that can work either on their own, or together as a 4.7 inch 960x800 device. It will come running Android 2.2 with a 1GHz second generation Snapdragon processor. The Kyocera Echo uses a sliding liquid metal hinge to go from a normal single screened phone to the stunning dual screen display. Due to its two screens being able to work separately, you can run different apps on each to say write a text while playing a game. The device is definitely well designed for the first of its kind, and I'm sure well see many renditions of it in the future. The Kyocera Echo will be launched in the upcoming months with a pricetag of $189. Check out all the pictures of the new device after the break.
