A boombox that actually looks good. The TDK Boombox had an old-school form factor but a modern design. It features a 6 inch subwoofer, two 6 inch coaxial drivers, a visual equalizer, touch sensitive buttons. USB port, RCA input and 3.5mm input. You can also plug your iPod in and have it charging at the same time. It runs off AC power but can also run on a dozen "D" batteries. Just an ordinary chair? Definitely is not. This chair has been ergonomically designed to make you feel as though you are suspended in air. The chair is made in a way where when you sit on it you're supposed to lose sight of it but I don't know to what extent that would work. Me being a skinny guy I think I would still be able to see it when sitting it on it. The thin memory foam cushions offer uniquely-comfortable sitting experience. Even the fasteners which keep the chair together are concealed to keep a minimal and clean look through out.

Ever find yourself shuffling around in the dark trying not to walk into something? Ben Alun-Jones has solved the problem, and in a very alluring way with his Affinity Chair that almost begs you to sit on it. As you near the chair its ultrasonic sensors and LED's begin a pulsing effect that speeds up as you approach it. The chair also uses one way mirror film to reflect its surroundings and appear transparent. The newest addition to the Pagani family of supercars is called the Huayra. Made in Italy, the Huayra features gullwing doors, a multi-functional screen that can control four individual flaps on the exterior allowing the owner to control downforce, and much, much more. If the cars sleek body doesn't catch your eye, the beautifully crafted interior will. It is absolutely one of the most uniquely crafted automotive interiors I have ever seen, and is by far my favorite part of the Huayra. Be sure to check out all the pictures after the break. These speakers are the peak of sound technology. The speakers themselves are ultrasonic allowing them in theory to only play music to your ears. This is done because the speakers only emit three different waves of sound, two waves cannot be heard by humans. With the 3 different sounds emitting it creates a beam of sound. When you stand in the beam it feels like the sound is in your head, when you step out of the beam you cannot hear the sound. With this technology you could bounce the beams of sound off the walls making it sound like you have a rear channel with only two speakers. Sadly this is only a concept at the moment although the technology is already established. This is something we should all be looking forward to.

Well here's a desk which is not like many other desks. If you hate the sight of cables and junk but you need those cables and junk, then this desk is for you. The middle of portion of the desk slides out to reveal a compartment where you can put things out of sight and where you can shove all those messy looking cables. It will give your workspace a nice clean minimal look which has become popular in recent years.

Slick UI is a new design for the Android OS by WonderDroid that is currently in development. The UI will give your device new features as well as aesthetic improvements. Some features that have been announced will be an improved application drawer that will allow tagging, and side swiping to access popular apps, recent apps, as well as memory information. The dock will be customizable, letting the user put whatever applications they choose, as well as giving a preview to the dock in the center of the screen when placing an application so your finger does not obscure your view of it. It will also feature a "WonderWheel" which not much is known about, but seems to be a drop down from the top of the screen to display custom information. The M600, a new supercar from the manufacturer Noble Automotive. Its chassis is a step away from what you normally see in cars like this using stainless steel instead of carbon fiber. While the car lacks things such as anti-lock breaks, it quickly makes up for it with how incredibly fast it is, being said to be able to reach 120mph in under 9 seconds. The design of the M600 inside, and out, is very clean and will definitely get you noticed. Amnesia Connect from Amnesia Razorfish on Vimeo . Amnesia connect has r eplaced the typical ‘send and receive’ interface with a more natural ‘gesture-based’ interface. A user with a smartphone can now move content freely by dragging content off their phone or simply dragging the content onto their phone. This is all done by placing the smartphone onto Microsoft Surface Table. Amnesia works with iPhone and iPad as of now, but is being further developed for Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry smartphones.

La Clé Du Temps, which translates to "The Key Of Time", is a new watch design by Hublot. The watch has not yet been released, with details being held off until March 2011. The watch features an extremely unique design with a black body and glowing green dials. It is expected to be in very limited production, and cost somewhere within six figures. For those that can afford this luxury, it will definitely be a head turner as well as something that will not see lookalikes for a very long time. Here we are with the next generation of the PSP, at last.  Sony have re-designed the system, kind of, but have made it a hell of a lot more powerful. Powered by a quad-core ARM processor paired with a quad-core GPU, people are saying this is as powerful as the PS3. It also packs features which you will typically find in modern smart phones today, features such as 3G, GPS, WiFi, compass, bluetooth and two cameras, front facing and rear facing. It has also got a rear touch surface, dual analog sticks, a d-pad plus Playstation action and shoulder button combo, six-axis accelorometer control and a touch screen. The touch screen is an OLED screen with a resolution of 960x544 and is 5" across. This thing has definitely stepped up the level of gaming which you can do on the move. The thing also looks very sleek and smart, just like all the previous PSP's. Glad to see Sony haven't forgot about style here.

The Android SDK has recently been updated for version 3.0 Honeycomb. The code is a non-final, early release at this point and preforms very slow. It is a good tool to developers however who want to get a head start in 3.0 developing, or for those who just want to see how the next version will function. Honeycomb shows off a completely revamped UI with many new features to better the users experience such as the new widget organizer, improved widgets, redone browser, and many other improvements. Platforms: Playstation 3 The third part of the Killzone series by Sony and Guerrilla once again puts the player in the fight for human survival. You are faced against the Helghast army, trying to survive a lost battle, and stop the domination of Helghan. The game features levels up to 10 times the size of those in Killzone 2, an advanced melee system, a multitude of weapons to choose from, and improved vehicle gameplay. These upcoming portable speakers by Razor features 360 degree sound, optimized digital amplification, and an adjustable chamber that allows the owner to control when they want bass. Kite UI is a new concept for Android which recently started being developed. It has a very simple and clean design that focuses the main screen on info such as the time, date, weather, and notifications. The right screens show social content like messages, networking and the left screens are left to display web related content like bookmarks, news, and feeds. With the 30 year anniversary of the original Audi quattro came a new concept for a more modern version of the racer. That concept has since turned into a fully functioning vehicle, with a very sleek and clean design and a clear resemblance to the style of Audi. Don't expect to see one of these around your neighborhood anytime soon as it is only available to very few to drive and test, and is currently worth about $5.2 million. The sequel to the first Dead Space is based around the Engineer Isaac Clarke as he wakes from a coma on the space city known as "The Sprawl". Isaac not only has to escape from this terrifying alien infested city, but he also must battle dementia, and visions of his dead girlfriend. The redefined design of the new Jawbone ERA Bluetooth headset comes in four styles and batch of new features starting with motion and touch controls. The headset's accelerometer allows it to enter pairing mode by shaking it and calls can be answered by simply touching its "layered, architectural surface exterior and faceted body". The ERA is 25% bigger than previous models by Jawbone which allows it to carry a 10mm wideband speaker. It seems as though more and more beautiful homes are coming from Barcelona. This particular one shows how glass can be used to create the feeling of openness and freshness. It is very clean also and has a lot of straight lines which is right up my straight, a form of OCD kicking in here.

It's called the Hypar Pavilion, a 7,200 square foot park on top of a restaurant in New York City's Lincoln Center. It is the creation of Diller Scofidio and Renfro and was made to provide the square with a restaurant that didn't take away space for people to relax. The building is covered in mostly glass, and one side of the roof touches the ground with stairs leading up to it. Hit the source link for more info and photos. Probably my most favourite set of shots out of all the shots I have ever done. It just looks beautiful. The mix of black and red nearly always works in whatever design, my favourite colours. A very useful Android app which I personally find quicker than QuickDesk. Very responsive and smooth also. Can also keep your homescreen looking tidy.

If your someone that enjoys seeing a nice car drive by every once and a while, this one will really catch your interest. Here we have a look inside designer Ralph Lauren's garage. The garage houses about 60 of the most rare and  valuable cars in the world. The cars range from a 1930 Mercedes-Benz SSK "Count Trossi" roadster to a 2006 Bugatti Veyron. Each piece has its own unique look, and way to display the time. Some may seem to be a little too much for your taste, but look around, there is a huge diversity of watches to choose from. The BMW GINA concept is something truly unique. It steers away from the usual make of a automobile by introducing a highly durable, stretch resistant material to form the outer shell of the car. The appearance of the car can be changed to ones personal preference by using hydrologically controlled parts such as the area around the headlights being completely closed while they are not in use. Another great feature of the concept is that the car is completely seamless due to the same piece of material being used for the entire body.

A series where many different types of inspiration will be shared with you. I'm going to try get these up on a regularly basis, obviously choosing something different each time.
