Three years ago, when I first began using the original iPod touch, iOS was revolutionary. Apple presented a polished device that popularized multi-touch input, a stellar browsing experience, and of course, a capable media experience, among other features. Unfortunately, as the system continued to make improvements, older devices such as the iPod touch 1g and 2g, as well as the original iPhone and iPhone 3g models were left in the dark.
