Archos 80 & Archos 101 Android Tablets

Archos have come out with some very competitive Android tablets here which will add to the ever growing collection of Android tablets.


Both the tablets feature Android 3.1. Archos 80 will have an 8 inch panel with a 1024x768 resolution screen and the Archos 101 will have a 10.1 inch screen with a 1280x800 resolution screen. Both will come with a 250GB HDD, yes a hard disk drive. I don't know how well that will go down with the battery so do not expect amazing battery life. Both will have 1.5Ghz dual core processors, support for Flash, access to Android market, a  motherf*ckin full-size USB port (something which I wish EVERY tablet manufacturer would put into their tablets), HDMI output and support for 1080p playback.

Both will go on sale in September at the bloody amazing price of $279 for the Archos 80 and $349 for the Archos 101. Now that is what you call competitive pricing!
