Blogger for Android (Minor Update 1.0.3)

You all know of Google's blogging client, Blogger. Well, the Android application has just been updated to version 1.0.3 which isn't a major update- it only brings a few bug fixes with the in-app browsing- but it does show Google are looking to further improve the application.

Google released an official Blogger client for android powered devices several months ago, but support for the application was hard to find. It is currently very simplistic but does almost everything needed on a mobile device. I personally only use the application to draft post for later publication. Unfortunately, editing web-created posts is not currently supported- something which I would use.

The official Blogger app supports full formatting of text. Images can also be added and captured to attach to a post. Locations can also be added to posts- a first for Blogger. Also, posts written on the device can be edited at a later point, synced, drafted and posted. I hope more features will come to the application along with the updates to Blogger on the web which should be coming soon.
