Phone Dialer - Gingerbread (Android 2.3)

One of my YouTube subscribers asked me to put up screenshots of the new dialer on Gingerbread.


As you can see there isn't that much of a change but it is a bit more minimal and it now has a black background, which saves battery on AMOLED screen devices.



I like how it illuminates green when touching the enter field.


When you have typed in a number and then press the menu key you get these options. I don't know if they were in the old dialer but hey never seen them before.


When you tap on one of the tabs up top they do highlight orange, should have made it green!


Contacts page has hardly changed. All that's changed is the box that holds a picture of the contact.
