Alu Proporta Leather Case for HTC Desire/Nexus One Review

Well here we are with another case for the HTC Desire. Big thanks to MobileFun.co.uk for sending out this product to me!
It is the Alu Proporta Leather Case for the HTC Desire/Nexus One.


Pros:
- Good quality leather material with aluminium lining
- Very solid feel, will save your device from drops and scrapes
- Classy leather look
- Great price

Cons:
- Not sure if it will last for over a year
- Quite bulky


The case is made up of good materials and will protect your device from scratches, drops, and scrapes. Your HTC Desire/Nexus One should fit snug in the case and should not slip out. Dropping it shouldn't really be much of a problem but I advise you not to drop your device on purpose for obvious reasons. The leather does not feel cheap at all and adds that classy touch to the case, making it look expensive. It is far from expensive though, at only £19.99 it is cheap for a leather case.


The case looks very nice around the device and like I said above, your device should fit snug in the case. The device is very sturdy in the case. It will add class to your device, it does to my HTC Desire which already I think looks very sleek. One thing I did not like though was how much bulk it adds to the device. When in your pocket it looks like you have got a huge oversized wallet in it. I think this is the case for people who carry their device in their hand a lot of the time.


The case is held together with a magnet latch as you can see in the picture above. Also in this picture you can see the white cover which covers the screen. I personally am not too fond of the white cover but I don't mind it. Would have been better looking if it was black or grey. That white bit does have a plate underneath it, think it may be aluminium, which makes sure the case doesn't bend which then actually protects the screen because I'm sure you don't want your device bending till it snaps.

If you're looking for a low price good quality leather case I do recommend this case but only if you can put up with the bulk of it. At £19.99 it definitely is not breaking the bank.
