The speakers can be easily activated by a switch as well as the headphones. They will run for about four hours in speaker mode, and sound quality is said to be pretty good on both ends even though there are two devices in one here. As for looks, I think Zumreed did a pretty good job making these hybrid headphones appealing without sacrificing functionality.
